PSL Fever Engulfs Transgender Community Too


Pakistan Super League to take start with its 5th Edition today.

Pakistan’s PSL high fever engulfs every segment of the country whether it is youngsters, old and woman, now it is a transgender community which is indulged in high voltage contests of cricket league being held in the country for its 5th consecutive edition.

The transgender community is not less excited than other segments of the public, so, they have chosen favorite sides and players when a group of transgender communities of Lahore asked about PSL fever. They have fastened their seat belts to enjoy the driving enthusiasm of high voltage contests between their favorite ones and oppositions. TV sets are ready, alternate plans are also on ready notes.

Gulabo, a trans member, has picked Multan Sultan as her side because she likes playing of Lala Shahid Afridi, though, her fellow trans Shabnam has picked Karachi Kings because of star player Babur Azam. Munni, another fellow Trans has picked Peshawar Zalmi as she likes Darren Sammy and wants him to win this edition. Other members of their group are sure about their picks of sides but they are supporting PSL as a national event just like every loving citizen, they want this league to be successful unprecedented.

The transgender community loves Pakistan as every other patriotic citizen, said Gulabo, leader of the group. We want our team to defeat India in the World Cup as it enriches us with happiness more than every other team. Gulabo asserted.

When asked about watching matches in stadium stands, she replied, we earn few thousands to meet necessities of life, sometimes it is difficult to earn bread to feed ourselves, how we can pay thousands of rupees to buy such expensive entertainment!! She lodged a complaint to Pakistan Cricket Board and other officials of the league franchises for neglecting their community to invite as special guests in PSL matches. We fear, if we buy tickets and go to watch the match in the stadium, fellow citizens and government official’s discriminative and mocking behavior hurt our emotions, she spoke.

When asked about the security and administrative conditions of the country, they showed excitement about the prospering situation of the land in every aspect and hoped for the best for their country as a patriotic citizen.
