A Group of Transgender Arrested After Attacking the Police Station Mingora, Swat. Police had registered an FIR against 20 trans persons. The protest was outside the police station for actions to be taken against them.
A group of more than 20 transgender persons targeted the police station with stones in the protest. They vocalized slogans and blocked the road. Local Judge heard the case and sent them into the jail. The police department is searching for the other protestors.

Nadia Khan, President of a local Ngo told that Naimat Ali a transgender had filed a complaint against Sajad Ali and Hussain Ali for allegedly firing on her residence.

Leaders of the Trans Action Alliance, a rights group, said at a press conference that the police took “unilateral” action and arrested 10 transgender persons. They appealed to the higher authorities to take notice of the police action.
